The Poiana Brasov ski area lies at the foot of the Postăvaru and is located in the heart of Romania, north of Brasov. The winter sports area has served as a venue for Romanian ski competitions since 1906. That’s why you can look forward to challenging and varied slopes here. The largest ski area in Romania is popular because it is extremely modern.
You drive into the valley on twelve different slopes. The area comprises a total of 22.4 kilometers of slopes. There are three easy slopes for beginners and families. There is a red slope available for more advanced skiers. Even the pros don’t miss out: they prove their skills on three challenging, black slopes.
Five tow lifts and two chair lifts transport you to the ski area. There is also a gondola lift and two cable cars. The ski area is suitable for both skiers and snowboarders.
The unprepared deep snow slopes are perfect for adrenaline junkies and experienced skiers. If you want to improve your technique, it is best to book a ski course in one of the local ski schools.
